Michael J. Boyajian, Esq.
Michael J. Boyajian, Esq. specializes in many areas of civil liability and transactional matters, including many aspects of real estate law, landlord-tenant disputes, construction disputes and defects, real estate purchase disputes, leases and rental agreements, realtor liability, failure to disclose issues, easement and boundary disputes, land use, permit and zoning issues, homeowners association issues, mobile home park disputes, and governmental liability. Mr. Boyajian also mediates landlord-tenant disputes, in an attempt to resolve these issues prior to resorting to the court process.
Attorney Boyajian also provides services relating to estate planning, wills and trusts, probate, trust administration, health care directives, powers of attorney, and conservatorships, in both the North County of Paso Robles and the South County of Paso Robles.
Mr. Boyajian has been practicing law since 1987 (over 30 years), and has two (2) offices in San Luis Obispo County to better serve his clients throughout Paso Robles County. The Five Cities Law Center is located on Grand Avenue in Paso Robles, California to accommodate clients in Paso Robles, Pismo Beach, Paso Robles, Oceano, Nipomo and Santa Maria. And, the North County Law Center is located on 13th Street in Paso Robles, California to provide service to clients in Paso Robles, Atascadero, Templeton, Santa Margarita, Morro Bay, Cayucos and Cambria.
Attorney Boyajian was born and raised in La Jolla, California. He spent his senior year of undergraduate work in Political Science at the National Chengchi University in Taipei, Taiwan, and his senior year of law school at Southwestern University School of Law on an externship researching Chinese investment and development laws in Hong Kong and Guangzhou, China, where he returned to work. Upon admission to the State Bar of California in 1987, Attorney Boyajian returned to the United States to represent major financial institutions in downtown Los Angeles.
He then joined the Fresno County Counsel’s Office where, among other things, he was assigned to assist the Public Works & Development Services Department in the prosecution of all zoning and building violations, and the General Services Department in all aspects of complex civil litigation (including government tort liability and the representation of judges in alleged civil rights violations, in both State and Federal Courts). He also represented the Fresno County Auditor-Controller/Treasurer-Tax Collector in all collection and retirement matters, and several school districts.
Attorney Boyajian was then hired by the insurance defense firm of Borton, Petrini & Conron (when they had 16 office throughout the State of California), where he fine-tuned his civil litigation skills and represented a variety of insurance companies and their insured, including Dole Food Company, Dewey Pest Control, Tootsie Roll, The Good Guys, Kal Kan, Fosters Freeze, The Home Depot, Teledyne Industries, Long’s Drugs, Mervyn’s, and public entities such as the City of Fresno.
Further real estate, construction and public entity liability experience was later gained while serving as the City of Morro Bay Assistant City Attorney, the City of Pismo Beach Assistant City Attorney, and the Assistant General Counsel for the San Simeon Community Services District. Approximately fifteen (15) years ago, Attorney Boyajian created the Law Offices of Michael J. Boyajian, and has been actively representing clients ever since. In addition, he has written over 50 newspaper articles concerning real estate-related matters.
